The Municipality of Paulilatino is taking a fundamental step toward enhancing one of its most celebrated historical and archaeological gems. With the Technical Sector's resolution of July 30, 2026, published on the website amministrazionetrasparente.unionesarda.it , the municipal administration officially appointed the Sole Project Manager (RUP) for the major redevelopment project of the Sanctuary of Santa Cristina .
The project has been entrusted to architect Salvatore Flores, who will oversee all phases of the project, from design to execution. The project, which has received a total of €858,400 from the Region, aims to enhance and reorganize the entire area.
Specifically, the funds are part of the regional plan for the recognition of "Monuments of Nuragic Civilization" in the UNESCO World Heritage List . The project at the Paulilatino site includes improving visitor routes, targeted conservation of the archaeological complex, and a complete reorganization of access services, to offer an increasingly high-quality and accessible tourist and cultural experience.
