Two traffic reports and two driving licences revoked: this is the result of checks carried out over the weekend on several roads in the province of Nuoro.

Of the two drivers, stopped at different times and locations, one tested positive to the breathalyzer.

with an alcohol level higher than the legal limit while the second one is

explicitly refused to undergo the test. This option is, however, provided for in the criminal code, which punishes anyone who, at the request of law enforcement, refuses to undergo tests.

Both had their licenses immediately revoked and were charged with drunk driving.
