The roof of an old house on Via Roma, in the Santu Predu neighborhood of Nuoro, collapsed this evening shortly before 8:00 PM. The alarm was raised around 7:40 PM, when the Nuoro Fire Brigade team responded to the scene.

According to the findings, the collapse affected the roof of an old building located on the central Via Roma . The damage also extended to a floor below, which featured wooden floors.

Fortunately, the structures imploded within the perimeter walls of the building, without causing material to fall onto the public road and without injuring anyone . The building, in fact, was uninhabited at the time of the collapse.

The Fire Brigade officer also intervened on site to check the stability of the building, while the Local Police carried out investigations and managed the safety of the area.
