The Ruju Cicalò department store, a historic Nuoro retail business established in 1962, is currently considering its future. The owner family explained in a statement that they are "evaluating the possibility of ceasing operations" and, at the same time, "exploring potential interest from operators active in the same product sectors."

In short, after more than sixty years in the city, the Magazzini has gradually reduced its original departments, maintaining only select sectors such as household goods, stationery, toys, and underwear. But now, intense online competition is prompting new considerations. So much so that the owners, in a statement, hint at a farewell to how the residents of Nuoro have known the Magazzini Cicalò until now, and go further, thanking "the employees who have supported the business with professionalism and dedication, as well as the city of Nuoro, which has supported and recognized the value of the Magazzini since its inception."

In the meantime, while we wait for final decisions, we're inviting you to take advantage of the January sales, which will offer particularly advantageous conditions on a wide selection of products.
