The water main on Via Sarpi has burst, leaving several neighborhoods in Nuoro once again without water. Abbanoa announced the news, notifying them of an urgent repair to the network. To allow technicians to work on the pipe, the Murrone reservoir had to be closed starting at 10:30 a.m.
The operation allows for work to be carried out with the pipeline completely empty and is expected to be completed around 12:30 p.m. , barring unforeseen events during the work. During the intervention, pressure drops and temporary interruptions to the supply are expected in the neighborhoods served by the reservoir. The affected areas are La Solitudine, Sa e Sulis, Irrilai, Sa e Manca, Su Campu, Santu Predu, Preda Istrada, Corte e Susu, Santa Ruche, Su Cuzone, Ubisti, Piazza Italia, and Su Srebadore. Water service will gradually return to normal once the repairs are completed and the reservoir is reopened.
