Fear this morning in Viale Sardegna, near number 41, at the height of the Arst station, where at around 9:45 a road accident occurred involving a pedestrian.

According to an initial reconstruction, a 72-year-old man was hit by a Fiat Punto driven by an 88-year-old woman. The elderly man, who reported pain in his knee and left leg, was promptly rescued and transported with a yellow code to the Emergency Room of the San Francesco hospital.

The 118 health workers and the Local Police intervened on site to carry out the necessary surveys and to manage the traffic, temporarily slowed down. Investigations are underway to determine the exact dynamics of the incident.
