The fence of the new dog park on Monte Ortobene in Nuoro was stolen overnight. The company carrying out the work reported the theft this morning, but upon arriving at the site, they found themselves without the necessary equipment. There are several security cameras in the area.

The announcement of the creation of a dog area along with other services that would make Monte Ortobene more accessible and usable came last week from the Municipality of Nuoro with the competent councilor Marco Canu .

"It's sad to see that the actions we're trying to take after so many years of neglect aren't being recognized and appreciated," says Antonio Costa , president of the Monte Ortobene ultima spiaggia committee, who has been volunteering for years to safeguard and protect the mountain that's the city's symbol.
