A heavy fine, equal to almost seven thousand euros , was imposed by the police on a bar in Nuoro, where during a check minors were discovered playing with the “Video Slot” machines .
The operation was carried out by the Flying Squad personnel, in collaboration with the Administrative Police Division, as part of an action aimed at combating underage gambling and gambling addiction.
The police, having ascertained that the commercial activity was violating the regulations that prohibit minors from accessing gaming rooms, notified the owner of a fine of 6,666.67 euros , in a reduced amount. Furthermore, the suspension of the business for a period ranging from one to three months was ordered, with the prohibition on registering new owners or holders of gaming machines.
This intervention is part of the preventive measures adopted by the Nuoro Police Headquarters to protect young people and prevent gambling addiction, with the aim of ensuring a safer and more protected environment for the entire community.
