He was stopped during a nighttime patrol by patrol officers near a club on Viale Repubblica. The man, from Nuoro and already known to law enforcement for a criminal record, appeared nervous upon seeing the patrol. This behavior aroused the suspicion of the officers engaged in the prevention and control of the area organized by the Police Commissioner.

During the personal search, the man was found in possession of approximately 2 grams of marijuana and 75 grams of cocaine . The officers therefore decided to extend the search to his home.

The house search led to the discovery of another kilo of marijuana, divided into packages , precision scales and packaging material, all hidden inside a compartment created in the fireplace hood.

Given the quantity of the narcotic substance and the manner in which it was concealed, the man was arrested for possession with intent to sell . On Monday, assisted by his lawyer, he appeared before the Nuoro Court judge for a validation hearing, who confirmed the arrest and ordered him to report to the judicial police.
