A man fell this morning on Via Lamarmora, in Nuoro, hitting his head hard on the pavement. Emergency medical services responded immediately, providing first aid and transporting him to San Francesco Hospital with a yellow code.

Local police also responded to the scene, identifying and marking a patch of uneven sidewalk with cones and red and white tape. It was at that point that the man may have tripped, lost his balance, and fallen to the ground.
