A student was injured this morning in a traffic accident in Nuoro on Via Toscana, at the intersection of Via Piemonte. The collision occurred around 8:15 a.m. and involved a scooter driven by the young man, born in 2007, and a 1981 Fiat Panda driven by a woman.

The motorcyclist was the one who fared worst and was rescued by the 118 paramedics and taken to the emergency room for checks and treatment.

Firefighters and local police also responded to the scene, conducting surveys to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident and managing traffic, which was particularly difficult due to heavy morning traffic. This is the second accident in just a few days.

On Monday, a motorcyclist was hit by a car between Via Campania and Via Toscana.
