Nuoro, brushwood on fire: disruption at Ruju's home, power lines damaged

There was fear this afternoon at Casa Ruju, in the Santu Predu neighborhood, where a fire broke out from a pile of dry grass outside the boundary wall, outside the property and appurtenances of the premises a stone's throw from Grazia Deledda's home and the former Galliani mill, near the former Enel substation on Viale Ciusa.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. A team of firefighters and local police patrols responded to the scene.

No injuries or problems were reported. The fire, however, damaged the power line.
