ASL 3 of Nuoro announces the entry into operation of two new cutting-edge healthcare devices, which mark an important step towards the modernization and strengthening of diagnostic services in the area. These are a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner and a 128-slice computerized axial tomograph, intended to strengthen the Diagnostic Imaging department of the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro. The testing phase for both devices has been completed.
The new technologies were purchased with funds from the Pnrr. The ASL is very satisfied with the completion of the testing of the equipment, and the importance of these innovations for the quality of diagnostics and patient care is underlined. "The introduction of these technologies", declared the general director of the ASL Nuoro Paolo Cannas, "represents a significant advancement from a diagnostic point of view, with a direct impact on the quality of clinical care pathways. Thanks to greater accuracy in diagnoses, doctors will be able to develop more targeted therapeutic plans, improving the effectiveness of treatments and reducing intervention times".
San Camillo in Sorgono is also preparing to welcome a new state-of-the-art diagnostic machine, a new TAC. The changes include stylistic and grammatical improvements, such as the correct use of capital letters for "ASL" and "TAC", and the correction of some verbal and prepositional concordances.
