Not only in Rome. Wild boars also appear in Nuoro, in the Città Nuova residential district that borders the pine forest on the outskirts of the capital of Barbagia.

A few nights ago in via Brodolini a large wild boar was wandering among the waste tubs in search of food, and it is not uncommon to spot entire families of ungulates walking through the streets of the neighborhood.

"My husband and my daughter were returning home, it was 10.30 pm, when near the neighbors' entrance they saw the animal trying to empty the wet tub. My daughter took it back", is the story of Elena Fois , who posted the video of the animal overturning the tub on Facebook.

And it is not the first time, the woman specifies: "Often we are told wild boars for a night walk nearby, perhaps they come from the pine forest attracted by the smell of food, but we learned that late in the evening they also show up in the hospital area San Francesco, attracted by the waste tubs of some nearby pizzeria ".

According to Elena Fois, “measures must be taken to prevent them from returning to our homes every evening”.
