Excellent news for the Northern Sardinia Reclamation Consortium which received the decree granting the loan of 8 million 500 thousand euros for an important intervention of "extraordinary maintenance and implementation of a monitoring system of irrigation volumes on hydraulic interception works in the irrigation districts of the Chilivani plain, the Perfugas plain and the Lower Coghinas Valley”.

«A very important result and an immediate response to the serious situation that, for example, the Chilivani district is experiencing – explains the president of the Consortium Toni Stangoni -. A result that rewards the commitment of the offices and a political planning aimed at intervening and improving a situation which unfortunately suffers from various criticalities. Only at the beginning of the month did we discuss with the regional and local political authorities, and with our consortium members, represented by trade associations, the need for urgent interventions to deal with the severe drought that is affecting the Chilivani plain, struggling with a very low level of the Lerno basin, which feeds it. And today, fortunately, we find ourselves giving this important news: on 18 July we were notified of the decree granting the loan. Within the year we also expect to receive the decree for the allocation of resources for the second project, worth three million euros, and in the next year, the third project, worth 4.5 million euros».

Finally, in third place, with 36 points, is the 4.5 million euro project for extraordinary maintenance and implementation of a system for monitoring irrigation volumes on hydraulic interception works in the irrigation districts of the three districts. The works will make it possible to intervene on the distribution system by creating remote control with the help of technology.
