Nightmare journeys on Sardinian roads: potholes, construction sites, landslides, and animals

The bad weather has accentuated traffic problems in the island's cities and towns.

On State Road 131, there's a "plug" between Nuraminis and Serrenti , but the long list also includes the tunnels in Sassari and Sedilo . Or the construction sites in Torralba and Macomer. And, again, on State Road 131 Dcn between Nuoro and Olbia.

Rain has also caused problems on the roads of Cagliari. One example is Provincial Road 2, between Sulcis Iglesiente and the capital . And in the mountainous areas, problems include landslides and stray animals.
