This morning, officers from the Cagliari Flying Squad arrested two sixteen-year-olds, pursuant to a precautionary detention order issued by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court, on charges of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing that occurred a few weeks ago at the Amnesya nightclub on Via Contivecchi in Cagliari.
The four young men from the small group of friends under investigation for the stabbing that occurred overnight inside the Amnesya club on Via Contivecchi in Cagliari were identified almost immediately. One of the two minors arrested this morning and remanded in custody in Quartucciu prison is believed to have injured the two twenty-four-year-olds after a petty argument. The other is believed to have instigated the fight.

The investigation was conducted by the Cagliari Flying Squad, coordinated by director Davide Carboni. The warrant was issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. The two sixteen-year-olds are being defended by lawyers Alessandro Corrias and Marco Fausto Piras.
