Two lifesaving flights in Sardinia carried out today by the 31st Wing of the Italian Air Force.

In the first case, a newborn baby of just 18 days was taken from the Policlinico Universitario Monserrato "Duilio Casula", together with her parents, a doctor and a nurse, on a Falcon 50 that left from Ciampino airport. The aircraft returned to the capital to allow the hospitalization of the little girl at the Policlinico "Gemelli".

In the second mission of the day, a 43-year-old man, hospitalized at the S. Martino hospital in Oristano and in need of specialized care for a serious neurological problem, was transported from Cagliari to Bologna at the request of the prefecture of Oristano, for admission to the Montecatone Rehabilitation Institute in Imola. During the flight, the man was accompanied by his wife and assisted by a medical team.
