The landings of migrants in Sardinia continue.

In the last hours 65 people have arrived on the island, also thanks to the calm sea and good weather conditions.

The first 14 were intercepted aboard a small boat on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday by a patrol boat of the Air and Naval Operations Department of the Financial Police about 35 miles from the coast of the island and were transported to the port of Sant'Antioco. Then another small boat, with 11 other migrants on board.

During the afternoon there were other landings of small groups always in Sant'Antioco while this morning 19 other foreigners were blocked by the carabinieri while they were moving away from the beach of Porto Pino, in the territory of Sant'Anna Arresi.

All migrants have been transferred to the first reception center in Monastir where they will remain in quarantine.
