Another migrant landing on the coast of Sardinia. Twenty-six people landed this morning at Porto Zafferano , in the Teulada area, including three women and four minors. The group was located by Carabinieri from the Military Police Unit of the 1st Armored Regiment, who intervened shortly after the migrants, presumably Algerian nationals, landed ashore . The small boat used for the crossing was apparently abandoned adrift in the open sea.

According to military reports, the migrants—nineteen adult men, three women, and four minors—were in apparently good health. The Carabinieri immediately activated the first rescue and assistance measures to ensure maximum protection for vulnerable people , with particular attention to women and children.

After completing the initial formalities, all migrants were transferred to the First Reception Centre in Monastir.
