Airlines are asking for more time to submit their bids, and the Region has granted them nine more days. The tender for the new air territorial continuity service was due to be submitted today, but the deadline has been extended to December 12th.

ITA Airways and Volotea requested clarification on the tender documentation and on some aspects that were "difficult to interpret," as stated in the resolution establishing the new deadline. Another airline reported a problem with the payment of ANAC contributions. Thus, shortly before the final deadline (scheduled for today at 1:00 PM), the Region's decision was issued.

The forecast for the start of the service , scheduled for the end of March 2026, remains unchanged.
