A new event for Cantine Aperte all'Arte . This Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m., at Alle Cantine – Sardinian Experience in Pozzo San Nicola (Stintino), writer Simone Azzu will present his debut novel, " Albergo Savoia ," published by Il Maestrale.

During the evening, the author will engage with journalist Gabriella Grimaldi, inviting the audience to discuss the book's themes. Set in a coastal town in Sardinia, "Albergo Savoia" depicts a world torn between places of power and spaces of marginalization. The protagonists' stories intertwine amid work, relationships, expectations, and daily struggles, offering a glimpse into the social changes and contradictions of the present.

Born in 1994, Simone Azzu is a playwright, director, and performer. Founder of the Torgeir Library at the Teatro Ridotto in Bologna, he has written and directed plays that have also been performed abroad, collaborating with Rai Radio3 and Swiss Radio and Television. Albergo Savoia represents his debut in fiction.

The meeting will be accompanied by live saxophone by Livio Solinas and will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the photographic exhibition " Vola Piano " by Egle Dessole , set up in the Alle Cantine spaces until July 26 and curated by Costantino Idini and Paolo Curreli.
