These are the accusations against the 20-year-old from Porto Torres, believed to be the perpetrator of the murder of Mario Sedda, the 39-year-old street poet found lifeless on April 1, 2021 in via dell'Erica , at the entrance to the city of Porto Torres.

The alleged perpetrator was arrested this morning by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the provincial command of Sassari, together with the personnel of the local company and the soldiers of the helicopter-borne Carabinieri squadron Cacciatori di Sardegna who took him from his home, in execution of the precautionary measure issued by the investigating judge of the juvenile court of Sassari.

The operation concluded after 4 years of investigations, which began on the day the body was found behind the bushes in the garden of some terraced houses .

The coroner found stab wounds on Sedda's chin, inflicted with a 20-centimeter-long ceramic knife and a large stone.

According to investigators, the death occurred between March 29 and 30, 2021, after Mario Sedda underwent a series of tortures.

At the time of the events, the 20-year-old would have been 16. The investigations of the Carabinieri and the Scientific Police, and following approximately 150 testimonies heard by the military, have led to a turning point . The young man accused of murder has been transferred to the juvenile prison of Quartucciu.
