Murder in Sassari, the suspect denies everything but remains in prison
Pre-trial detention confirmed for Antonio Luigi Fiori, accused of killing Nicola PasquarelliAntonio Luigi Fiori, the man suspected of the murder and concealment of the body of Nicola Pasquarelli, will remain in prison. The decision of the investigating judge Gian Paolo Piana therefore reaffirms the arrest of the 48-year-old from Sassari who has been in Bancali since Sunday.
This morning, however, the guarantee interrogation was held in the prison where Fiori, defended by the lawyers Elisabetta Udassi and Roberto Risi, and in the presence of the deputy prosecutor Lara Senatore, proclaimed himself innocent, stating that he had not carried out the murder.
A gesture that would have taken place about two weeks ago for reasons of jealousy in the woods in front of the Botanical Garden. With an attack by the alleged killer with a stick on the neck and nape of the victim who, once dead, was doused in petrol and burned in a hollow in the ground.
Between Pasquarelli and Fiori there would have been an acquaintance for some time in which a young woman took part, a twenty-year-old on whom the attention of both would have focused. Perhaps the same twenty-year-old who gave the alarm to the state police about what happened.
