Temporary traffic (with restrictions) on the Feraxi bridge in Bau Colarba will be allowed from today until noon. The municipal order, signed by the Muravera administration, allows traffic to reach the Feraxi beaches after several months.

The ordinance specifies that "only light vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle mass of 3.5 tons and a maximum axle load of 20 kN will be permitted to transit." Furthermore, "traffic must be exclusively in the single central lane, with only one vehicle on the entire length of the bridge at a time, and traffic must be one-way, alternating, and the maximum speed limit will be 30 km/h." It is then clarified that "the temporary transit permit is a first step in overcoming the serious problems the area has faced over the last year and a half." In any case, the municipal administration recommends extreme caution.

Renovation work on the bridge is nearing completion. This work, which should have been completed before the start of the tourist season, has now been given the green light, at least for light traffic. This green light represents a first major breath of fresh air for the many businesses in Feraxi.
