Mayor Salvatore Piu: "Very welcome guests"Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Hundreds of Royal Germans crowd the high water channel of Muravera , along the entire perimeter of the inhabited center.
A show that has been going on for many days, especially since the Municipality has provided for the cleaning of the same canal . Some people, among other things, go early in the morning to the areas where birds are found to feed them.
Mayor Salvatore Piu pointed out that they are "very welcome guests" . The naturalist Mauro Murru explained that numerous fauna species have been sighted along the high water channel over time. "The mallard and the moorhen for example - said Murru - have also adapted to the periodic cleaning of the canal, that is, they have managed to find a place for nesting all the same".
The list includes, among others, the Herons (Guardabuoi, Little Egret and Cenerino) and, although very sporadically, the marten and the kingfisher (the latter has been sighted only once).
