The Carabinieri arrested a 35-year-old from Muravera, unemployed and already known to the police, on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
The arrest occurred after a report by the medical staff of the Muravera hospital, where the man's mother had been urgently taken.
The woman had arrived at the emergency room feeling unwell and, after undergoing gastric lavage , the doctors hypothesized that she had accidentally ingested hashish .
After being alerted by the doctors, the military intervened at the family home, where during a search they found 135 grams of marijuana, hashish, a cannabis plant grown in a small homemade greenhouse equipped with a lighting and ventilation system , a precision scale, material for packaging the doses and the sum of 345 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The man was therefore arrested and placed under house arrest, awaiting a direct hearing before the judicial authorities of Cagliari.
