Potholes and other road hazards have appeared on some roads in the municipality of Muravera due to persistent rain.

The stretch between Muravera and the hamlet of Feraxi, at the height of the barriers (shortly after the Rio Corr'e Pruna), is particularly treacherous: some potholes are covered in water and could mislead motorists.

The danger was reported by the Barracellari company: "The municipal offices were promptly informed and will intervene tomorrow to secure the road," the company explained in a statement. "In any case, we must proceed with the utmost caution." The Barracellari's contribution was crucial during the red alert: the officers, coordinated by Commander Daniele Battaglia, patrolled the area extensively, providing information and reporting any potential dangers.

Other potholes that have formed on some streets in the city center have been patched up in recent days by municipal workers.

The Municipality of Muravera, among other things, is awaiting the half-million-euro project being commissioned by the Metropolitan City of Cagliari for the new asphalt paving along Via Roma. This work was supposed to begin at the end of last year.

Via Roma—the most important street in Muravera—is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan City. Three years ago, the City Council approved a resolution to acquire it. However, the resolution has been bogged down in bureaucratic red tape.
