Drama on the beach at Colostrai , in the sea of Muravera .
This morning around 10.30 a man collapsed due to illness and all attempts to help him were in vain .
The victim is Gian Gabriele Sorano, a retired doctor from Quartu. He was 68 years old and, according to what we learn, suffered from heart problems. He had worked for a long time for the ASL of Cagliari.
Sorano was having fun with other swimmers when he felt ill. His family members were also present and the alarm was raised immediately, with the immediate arrival of an ambulance .
The Carabinieri of the Muravera station also intervened on site, together with their colleagues from the permanent station of Costa Rei: the body was removed and, by order of the magistrate, was immediately made available to the family.
