Mughina, car skids at the exit of a hairpin bend: one woman injured

A woman was injured in a road accident that occurred today near the Nuoro tunnel, in Mughina . The incident occurred at the exit of a hairpin bend, right in front of the entrance to the tunnel (closed to traffic), in rainy conditions that may have contributed to the loss of control of the vehicle.
According to an initial reconstruction, the driver – aboard a Toyota – skidded while taking the curve , ending up violently impacting the guardrail. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved.
Local police officers, firefighters and an ambulance from 118 intervened on the scene.
The woman, injured but conscious, was rescued and taken to the hospital for checks . Her conditions are not serious.
