An entire flock of sheep falls into the riverbed to escape the attack of a pack of stray dogs. Most of the sheep were then rescued, but about twenty were killed and torn to pieces before help arrived.

It happened in the countryside of Mores. To save the animals that had thrown themselves into the Riu Mannu after the attack of some dogs, the firefighters intervened, with teams on the ground, divers and even the helicopter.

After complicated operations, the 115 men managed to pull the animals out of the water and return them to their owner.

Unfortunately, as mentioned, there was nothing that could be done for about twenty sheep.
