More than one hundred wind turbines, each 300 meters tall, with a total capacity of 1,470 megawatts in the Strait of Bonifacio. Two projects, Nurax and Poseidon, the first is 35 kilometers from the Sardinian coast and 57 kilometers from Bonifacio, the second 40 kilometers from Sardinia and 81 kilometers from Bonifacio. All of this is located near the Strait of Bonifacio Nature Reserve and International Marine Park, within the perimeter of the Pelagos Sanctuary, near the Maddalena National Park.

Projects that threaten the sea that divides the two islands of France and Italy. And the fact is: in Corsica, they're concerned, but not in Sardinia. In Corsica, Parliament unanimously approved a motion rejecting offshore parks in the Strait of Messina and the defacement of France's largest (eighty thousand hectares) nature reserve. A document proposed by the independentists of Core in Fronte, which, as part of the cross-border environmental assessment process, calls on the central government to fully involve the Corsican community. In Sardinia, the institutions have met with complete silence.

«Absent politics»

In Ajaccio, hosted by the Corsican independence leaders, Mauro Pili, former president of the Region, attended the proceedings of the Chamber, but no one from the Sardinian Assembly was present, let alone the Regional Council.

"The Regional Council is completely absent, absent, and should instead take a cue from the courses, because we're talking about an intervention that could jeopardize any prospect of tourism development," notes Davide Fadda, spokesperson for the Permanent Presidium of the Sardinian People. Now, the activists are calling for the Regional Council to at least "take a clear and unequivocal position."
