The discontent does not subside in Barigadu where, in some towns, citizens have been left with dry taps since Friday. On Sunday the water slowly started arriving again, but to see it flow almost clean it was necessary to keep the taps open even twenty minutes later.

Many in Busachi have had to deal with totally brown water, impossible to use.

Upstream a problem with the pipeline in the Tiana area which serves the centers of Austis, Ortueri, Neoneli, Nughedu Santa Vittoria, Sorradile, Bidonì, Busachi, Ardauli and Ula Tirso. The Abbanoa workers managed to repair the aqueduct and little by little it was possible to proceed with filling the tanks.

Meanwhile, the aim is to redevelop twenty kilometers of pipeline : «The design has been included in the new programming of the 2021-2027 Development and Cohesion Fund. This type of investment will concern the redevelopment of twenty kilometers of pipeline that serves the Barigadu towns and connects to the Torrei reservoir", Egas clarifies.
