More fires in the Sassari area , in the areas affected by fires on Wednesday.
The Forestry Corps is engaged in extinguishing the flames that have developed in the countryside between Ardara and Ozieri, where the regional and national fleet aircraft have intervened.
In Ardara the fire broke out in the countryside, in the Funtana è Figu area, where the flames were put out thanks to the use of the helicopter that took off from the Anela base. On site the Ozieri forest patrol is coordinating the firefighting maneuvers on the field.
A second front has opened in the territory of Ozieri , in the Arca area, where two helicopters from Alà dei Sardi and Anela are engaged. The firefighters also intervened in the emergency.
The situation is under control following an immediate and joint intervention of all firefighting forces that remain on alert. The deployment of the air fleet and tractors on the ground have allowed the flames to be contained and the damage to be limited.
This morning, the Forestry Corps, with the support of a helicopter from the Villasalto operational base, intervened to put out a fire that had broken out in the countryside of Arbus , in the Genna Lada area.
