An eighty-one-year-old man killed his eighty-one-year-old wife by strangling her, then called the police. The crime occurred this afternoon in a second-floor apartment at number 28 Via Boezio, in Monserrato.
According to initial reports, the murder took place in the early afternoon in front of some family members.
The man was immediately arrested by the Carabinieri of the Quartu company, under the strict direction of Captain Gianmarco Daidone.
