Monserrato: Sixteen-year-old beaten outside school, sentenced to 30 days

Tense moments erupted this morning in Monserrato, outside a high school, where a sixteen-year-old was attacked after class.

The cause of the fight is unclear, nor whether the attack was carried out by a single person or by multiple youths. It is suspected that it may have been a group of peers who fled immediately after the incident.

The minor suffered multiple facial injuries and was transported to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari by 118. Doctors gave him a 30-day prognosis. The police are investigating the case.
