Carabinieri officers from the Monserrato station arrested a 24-year-old unemployed man known to law enforcement yesterday evening for escaping house arrest.

The boy, subject to a precautionary measure requiring him to remain indoors, was caught by officers walking away from his home without authorization. During the check, the 24-year-old was unable to provide an explanation for the violation.

He was taken to the police station for formal procedures and, by order of the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office, was then placed under house arrest pending trial, scheduled for this morning.
