Monserrato, arrested for receiving stolen goods, must serve four months.

In the early hours of the morning, the Carabinieri of Monserrato arrested a 52-year-old man, a resident of the city and already known to law enforcement, pursuant to a house arrest order issued by the Cagliari Surveillance Court.

The ruling concerns a four-month prison sentence for an incident of receiving stolen goods that occurred in Cagliari on August 17, 2015. Ten years after the alleged events, the courts imposed the sentence.

After the usual formalities, the man was escorted to his home, where he will serve his sentence under the supervision of the judicial authorities.
