The city coordination of Fratelli d'Italia Quartu Sant'Elena denounces the serious state of degradation present in some areas of the Molentargius Park , an environmental and naturalistic heritage of extraordinary value for the entire metropolitan territory.

"In several areas, we see the presence of abandoned waste, bulky materials, debris, and appliances left in complete neglect, in a context that should instead be preserved and enhanced."

"This situation is no longer tolerable," they wrote in a statement, "and represents environmental damage, a potential health and hygiene risk, and an unsightly image for residents, visitors, and tourists. Unfortunately, incidents like this continue to recur over time, fueling a sense of abandonment that cannot be ignored."

Brothers of Italy is calling for urgent remediation and cleanup of the affected areas, along with increased controls through video surveillance systems and more constant monitoring of the area.
