The review hearing against the precautionary arrest warrant that sent brothers Gianmarco and Filippo Tunis to prison, accused of the murder of Leonardo Mocci in Monserrato on the night of April 23, took place this morning.

In front of the Court of Liberty, the defense lawyer Riccardo Floris spoke for almost two hours, heavily contesting the content of the order and the elements that the public prosecutors Enrico Lussu and Diana Lecca presented evidence to the investigating judge Claudia Sechi in support of the arrest.

In particular, for the defense, some of the people the Prosecutor believes to be witnesses should actually be investigated and therefore their testimonies cannot be used.

Yesterday morning, a retrial hearing was held for the third alleged accomplice, Daniele Campus, accused of setting up the trap that led to Mocci and his friend purchasing drugs and then handing them over to a gang of robbers. During the frantic stages of the robbery, a gunshot to the heart killed the 23-year-old from Villacidro. Campus is being represented by lawyers Alberto Pani and Francesca Mannai.

The judges will rule almost simultaneously on all three positions, both those of the Tunis brothers and Campus.
