Sardinia, with the Anima Mundi Palestine Network, is also responding to the global day of mobilization called for October 10th in defense of the Palestinian people. A multi-stage initiative was organized, beginning on September 25th in Cagliari with a demonstration for Palestine against the Bill 1004 on anti-Semitism. It continues today in the Sardinian capital with a sit-in also attended by Emergency "against the genocide in Palestine."

On October 4th at 7 pm, again in Piazza Yenne, there will be readings and discussions "We denounce ourselves on Palestine," while on October 10th at 4 pm in Piazza Costituzione in Cagliari, the global mobilization for Palestine will take place.

"Let us rise up against all censorship and all complicity. Let us fight together against the illegal occupation of Palestine," the organizers said. "International law, like the anti-fascist constitutions, are the first barrier protecting peoples from the excessive power of irresponsible financial groups and fanatics. For a century now, in Palestine, we have seen this barrier breached: the occupation, apartheid, a model that Zionism is already exporting elsewhere. If this barrier falls, it will fall for all peoples. In Italy, they want to silence us by law; with Bill 1004, they want to take away our right to criticize Israel. We demand respect for international law, an end to all political, economic, and military relations with Israel, sanctions, embargoes, and an end to all complicity, with freedom of speech and demonstration guaranteed to all."
