Alarm raised in Iglesias for a 76-year-old man who hasn't been heard from for several days.
The Prefecture of Cagliari has activated a plan to search for missing persons, and in addition to law enforcement, firefighters are also working on site, with a rapid response team, TAS (topography applied to rescue) experts, SAPR (unmanned aerial systems) pilots with drones, dog units, and SAF (alpine and river speleological) teams . Volunteer teams from the Alpine Rescue Service are also in action.

In the first phase, the searches are focusing on the area of the San Lorenzo dam and on the road leading to the countryside of Emmaus and Marganai.
