The Front'e Mari in Pistis, on the Costa Verde, will host the regional final of Miss Universe Sardinia 2026 on Thursday, August 20th, starting at 8:30 pm. This evening will be dedicated to beauty, but also to fashion, dance, entertainment, and Sardinian craftsmanship. The event will be hosted by Lucilla Nori, reigning Miss Universe Italy, who won the national title last year and went on to represent Italy at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand. For the second consecutive year, the event will be organized by Alessia Ghisoni, a leading figure in the wedding and event industry in Sardinia and also the organizer of Miss World. Anthony Peth will host the evening, while Francesco Sassu will be the choreographer, who will also perform on stage alongside the contestants.

Among the guests will be Luna Dechicu, an international dancesport dancer originally from Macomer, who will perform two Latin dance pieces. Twelve-year-old Maria Francesca will also be on stage with Sassu and the other contestants. After nine and a half years of classical dance at the Assunta Pittaluga Dance School, the young woman entered the International Dance Academy – Ukrainian Academy of International Ballet, based at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan. Katia Malika, world champion of oriental dance, will also take the stage with a performance dedicated to her discipline. Sardinia will also be featured through fashion and craftsmanship. The runway will feature jewelry by Vincenzo Vadilonga, handmade in his Bosa workshop using traditional Sardinian goldsmithing and filigree techniques. Designer Daniela Murtas will also be present, showcasing her "Adilina" swimwear collection. The floral arrangements and decorations will be by Assunta Vinci. At the end of the evening, three regional titles will be awarded, but only one contestant will win the Miss Universe Sardinia 2026 sash and officially represent the island in the national competition.

The three winners will depart on August 24th for Puglia, where they will compete in the national competition, which runs until August 30th. Twenty-one contestants will advance to the final stage. The national final of Miss Universe Italy 2026 is scheduled for August 30th at Villa Cafiero, Puglia. For the Sardinian representatives, the evening at Pistis will therefore be the first step towards the national stage, in an event that aims to showcase the beauty, talent, elegance, and identity of the island.
