Sardinia's shepherds are meeting again. There are too many raw nerves in the rural world. At the Anfora Hotel in Tramatza, discussions will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15th. Then, the farmers participating in the general meeting launched by "shepherds without a flag"—organized by Fabio Pisu, Gianuario Falchi, Mario Carai, and Nenneddu Sanna —will decide what to do next. Numerous items are on the agenda.

La locandina dell'evento

The first concerns the price of milk (sheep and goat), which is not as low as in 2019, when the uprising broke out, but must be weighed against the soaring production costs. So much so that their impact on companies, which are forced to reckon with the price of grain, will also be discussed.

The issues facing the cattle sector, which has been affected by transport restrictions due to sporadic outbreaks of dermatitis, will also be addressed. And, speaking of diseases, the situation related to bluetongue will also be analyzed.
