Milk cooler stolen from sheepfold: two farmers charged with receiving stolen goods

Today, the Carabinieri of Furtei reported two farmers, aged 26 and 36 respectively, resident in Serrenti and Villamar, both already known to the police, held responsible for the crime of receiving stolen goods .
The operation was triggered during an inspection of a sheepfold located in the Furtei countryside. During the inspection, officers noticed a 600-liter milk cooler , the presence of which immediately aroused suspicion.
When asked for clarification on the origin of the machine, the 26-year-old said he had borrowed it from the 36-year-old from Villamar.
Gli accertamenti svolti dai carabinieri, tramite le banche dati, hanno smentito tale versione e constatato la provenienza illecita del bene . Il furto del refrigeratore, infatti, era stato denunciato lo scorso dicembre. Il macchinario è stato immediatamente recuperato e restituito al legittimo proprietario.
