The Olympic torch for the Milan-Cortina Winter Games has reached Cagliari, the final stop on its tour of Sardinia .

Having landed in Olbia, the flame, a universal symbol of sporting spirit, passed through several towns in the north of the island on Saturday . Today, Sunday, it will set off again from Oristano, heading south, passing through Sanluri, Iglesias, and Quartu Sant'Elena, to the capital, watched by a crowd of onlookers .

Among the last torchbearers were Giulia Stagno , captain of Amsicora Field Hockey, and Olympic sprinter Dalia Kaddari.

The epilogue of the torchlight journey-celebration in Via Roma, where the Coca-Cola Village was also set up, for the final show with the lighting of the brazier .
