Boarding operations have begun for migrants from the CAS in Monastir, who have been stranded in Olbia's Isola Bianca port since the evening of Saturday, September 12, due to a bureaucratic issue with their documentation.

Since yesterday, some Grimaldi captains have given the green light to embark small groups of non-EU citizens, who have departed. However, some remain at the Olbia maritime station, where they are awaiting approval from Tirrenia.
A significant deployment of law enforcement, with agents from the State Police, Carabinieri, and the Port Authority monitoring the situation. Many of the migrants spent the night on the lawns of the maritime station, waiting to reach the Italian mainland. The situation is currently under control, and boarding and departure operations will continue in staggered phases today.
