Michela Rubiu , the woman from Solanas who was seriously injured at dawn on July 23 by her husband Alessandro Pintus during a furious argument that took place at the victim's bar in the seaside village of Sinnai, died after a month-long struggle between life and death.

Hospitalized in desperate conditions from the first moment, she never regained consciousness.

The charge against the confessed suspect, who is also responsible for the murder of his brother Andrea Pintus, committed shortly afterward in the family home in Quartu, will now be changed to double voluntary homicide.
