Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works Matteo Salvini spent a weekend in Sardinia, arriving at Alghero Airport this morning with his partner Francesca Verdini for a short break on the island.
After the visit to the Catalan city, the stop on the island of Asinara National Park is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 4th, and will also be open through Easter Sunday. The private visit and stroll through Alghero did not go unnoticed by the locals.
Wearing sports gear, he crossed the route along the ramparts to continue the tour of the splendid Catalan city.
Tomorrow, he will visit the island of Asinara, amid the stunning scenery of the coves and villages of Cala Reale and Cala d'Oliva. With a punctual escort, the minister will visit former prison facilities undergoing redevelopment and renovation, some of which have recently opened, some nearing completion.
He will spend a night on the island park before resuming his holiday in Gallura.
