Sergio Mattarella visits Cagliari : the President of the Republic arrived in the city to participate in the inauguration of the school year .

Accompanied by the President of the Region Alessandra Todde and the Mayor of Cagliari, Massimo Zedda , the President exchanged a few words with some children from the elementary schools of Cagliari who were waiting for him at the entrance of the Convitto, then he went in for a (private) visit to the institute.

Then the official event of the twenty-fourth edition of "Tutti a scuola", a traveling ceremony since 2015, this year hosted in Cagliari at the school in via Pintus. Twelve months ago, instead, it took place in Forlì.

Around 1,300 students were involved: in addition to those from the Convitto, representatives from eight Sardinian schools and institutes from the Peninsula were also present .

The Head of State was welcomed by the sound of the launeddas and greeted by great applause, also addressed to the girls of the national volleyball team, gold medalists at the Paris Olympics , who were also present at the event: the Sardinian Alessia Orro, with Paola Egonu, Myriam Silla and Anna Danesi.

Representing the world of sport are Minister Andrea Abodi , the president of CONI Giovanni Malagò and the president of the Italian Paralympic Committee Luca Pancalli.

During the meeting, an in-depth analysis of current issues and innovations in the world of school is planned. Together with the Head of State, the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, and the Minister of Sport Andrea Abodi and the President of Coni Giovanni Malagò .

The entire event will be broadcast live nationwide. Videolina will broadcast part of the ceremony from 5:30 pm: Simona De Francisci and Nicola Scano in the studio .
